There is no peace at the close of day waters of time wash up to the jagged cliff's tides rushing fingers try to reclaim the land In eddy pools left behind see urchins dwell green small sea plants seek a brined existence but come the crystal night, winking stars shine A calm sea no longer surges deeply inward oceans mirth can be heard in shore surf as white frothy tongues cover the drying sand
