The growth of a feeling.

You spread your seeds across my breast
I rained tears of alone
your roots began searching deep
into me

Our relationship branched
and reached for the heavens
as they searched deeper
into me

I nourished you with
the minerals of my mind
you are extending your roots
throughout me

And one day we will reap
all the goodness from within
