Tiny princesses in colors bright
and wee pirates who of treats delight. Have come and gone on All Hallows night
giving naught but glee ne'er a fright.
Colors getting vibrant in bright sunshine
greens become red, yellow, brown in time. Billowing winds making church bells chime
calling to all in Autumns rhyme.
'Fore fall wanes we honor those who fought
with that sacrafice our freedoms bought. Thier own comfort, giving not a thought
Hail them we do, or at least we aught.
Now our ancestors feast we prepare
to celebrate and show we still care. As winter looms in shadowy air
for all they braved, yet do we dare.
ENJOYING, REMEMBERING AND FORAGING...ALL HERE AS WE SLIDE INTO A SEASON THAT IS LIKE NONE OTHER. A WONDERFUL POETIC WORK. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

I'm a soft touch for seasonal poetry, having grown over years to regard the subject matter always uplifting and hopeful. BTW, one of my all time favorite and inspiring pieces of cinema is "Spring, Summer, Fall Winter and Spring" written and directed by Kim Ki duk. An absolute stunner in its depiction of life through the seasons with but three main characters. Well worth finding. I know you'd enjoy it.
I loved it Budd. Loved every word of it. Exceptional write.
