I'm in exactly the same mode Janet;-) I love nothing better than to be left in a room full of books so I can wallow in them as I please,
alone with no interruptions;-) Love the way you crafted this gem!

You have captured us compulsive obsessive recluses to a T, Janet... and make us sound charming!! Wouldn't we all just LOVE to get together sometime?! But of course! :)) Trouble is, when I DO eventually emerge into a room full of people, I am still so much in me own head it like as not makes no difference... or, at least, there's a lot of noise and not much sense... so what's new?! Oooo, I can feel another reclusive moment comin on...!! Most evocatively and atmospherically done, and reaches way, way back into the realms of my childhood and fantasies. TY for this gentle reminder. Hope you're enjoying your "excuse" to just "be". Don't rush to "come out fighting"! Bless you, Kate xx

Well Janet, all I can say is "I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN"! LOL....my ideal existence would probably be in a comfortable room FULL of an endless supply of books. I'm such a huge fan of curling up with a good read. Unfortunately you can't produce a mystery series as a writer by reading OTHER people's material - so I'll just hope the day will arrive when I'm "resting on my laurels" and enjoying a well deserved rest which I'll spend READING. I love this bit of prose - I can just see you relaxing and enjoying your quiet time.
