We're renting an old beach house for a month. It was born in the forties as was I. It's a shack of a place, patched up in places. Pealing paint, worn furniture and a rickety deck show it's age. But there is a sunroom that looks out upon white caps, bursting and reaching for the sky. I am broken and well worn. My insides are filled with cracked paint and ratty carpet. But the sunroom beckons and I am allowed a view of eternity.�

That last line summemed up the mystic of this place which "was born in the forties." Loved this poem, Janet.

Be careful of molds when going into old places. They can make you sick. Nice view you have described.
