The day was warm the earth breathed deep
The children wandered taking in
"One" nature's gift of pure delight
For changes were to take place night
Below the hill road through the Marsh
No mercy to be given none
For it would take away the sun

The road through Marsh is very long
Tower'd on both sides by grasses tall
One cannot see much of the sky
Were twenty eight that meant to try
Traverse that road through dark of night
Challenging spirits silly boys
Still holding onto childish toys

Soon thunder snow began to fall
Upon the people of the hill
Four times the thunder stood it's ground
The boys made laughter at the sound
Made their way down to murky Marsh
The hill folk watched as they descend
Knowing boys won't be seen again

The years have come the years have gone
The Marsh waits quietly for fools
Who after sun filled care free days
Some seem to wander from their ways
None speak of those who disappear
When thunder snow asserts it's place
The Marsh doth show forth Satan's face
