*Thoughts Along the Way*

Vast stretches of oceanic wonder,

Fatal it would be here, if I was to make a blunder,

You would find Rufuz, the boat and I, so far under,

These deep blue expanses, known as the Marianna’s trench,

No future historians or explorers could so plunder,

Anything from this far deep asunder,

Only that of a god with the strength of thunder,

Could retrieve our bones from the depths,

Of 3,000 feet or more,

If in fact, our bones did survive,

The bone crushing pressures of these depths, nothing else here alive…
