We had a similar experience, Ed, in one of our local poetry groups. I think that when it's all done in fun, and the people realize that from the beginning, nasty feelings tend to subside, or not even pop up at all. What I love about your writing is that it is always unpredictable, a bit raw, not meant for everyone, and honestly, if you say a bad thing about me I will jump thru this computer screen and give you the worst pimp slappin' you ever encountered.

Then I'd give you a big ol' kiss on your balding head. LOL

By the way, I have this motto that may help you too. . . "don't start none, won't be none."

Ed, in all honesty, I feel the roast are fine, for to be roasted is to be shown honor in a good humored way...so Ed, roast till toast.
