Time to Sigh...

We need a category for depression, but god it will be filled in a short day...

Time to Sigh…

Today I did cut a lawn,

My allergies this did spawn,

Should have done so way back around dawn,

But at that time of the day all I could do was yawn…

Do I seem of late to be a bit withdrawn?

Well, yes I have, I know it too as a foregone,

Sorry, as of late my life seems to have gotten overdrawn,

A cancerous tumor or growth to some,

They have found, & I have undergone…

So understand when I say its time to sigh,

I realize this is just another step in time; I do not lie,

I just have to ask a certain guy, why has my life, of late, gone all awry?

Please understand, I don’t mean to in any way imply,

That I do blame any other, other than the first person, yes I…

Stuck high and dry in this ocean of depression, right up to my thigh,

I will just say herein a very fervent goodbye,

Not that I am leaving, just long enough to hopefully see some reply,

I sometimes wish, yes I am sorry to say, I would just dry up and die away...

Oops! I think there was a little overreacting here.. you said in the last verse "not that I am leaving" Whew! BUT... there seems to be a chain of these sad ones... you have much on your plate but I'm with Ed.. the darkest time, now, will reveal the sun soon.. when you have all the info you can begin the work of healing. It's godawful not to know all that you need to know. What happened with that blood draw? and what's the doc say? You'll beat this... I know it! Rest.. and keep us handy.. we're here for you, dear heart. katy xox.

Don't you dare leave us here high and dry (or wet and muddy depending on where you live) without you my friend! Hang in there, the allergies will give up their hold on your nose, and the blues their hold on your mind.

Hugs!

Ditto what Ed said, Ed!!!… Try saying that three times and then sigh!!!…lol… You have many friends rooting for you, Poet!!!… We are also living in a day and age with modern technology and medicine, which will help!!!… If I have too, I’ll swing by there on my way to D.C., and put you back in the wet paper bag!!!… Peace thru Having Friends Around!!!

Hold on there Buckaroo. Where the hell do you think you're going? Things always look the very worst, before the best. Things always look the very darkest, before the brightest morn. Once you're on the bottom, the only way out is - up, etc., etc.

Who am I going to write crazy reviews to, if you leave us?? And who the heck is gonna take care of Rufuz, Mascot of AD?? How can he write his poems if you take off??

It ain't over, til it's over, My Friend, and don't make me send my Loony Squad over there!!!

Good expression. Sounds like depression to me. If it is clinical depression, it's not a weakness to seek help.

we all have those days where we feel worthless and unworthy. depression is a nasty illness that must be dealt with! i hope you have happier days ahead; at least you have rufuz to lick your tears away when you cry; pets make great healers! and you also have rene'! think of the good things you have in life; you have a lot to be thankful for, and i am thankful that we are friends! now cheer up and remember that you have friends here who love ya!

now cheer up you big lug, okay??

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in tx., karen lynn. :(

i know depression all too well. which is one reason i write so much! it helps me heal!
