Artificial Atmosphere… Air conditioning, oxygen & heat, Pumped into buildings so neat, As much an interesting feat, As the horseless carriage of long ago with one seat… Can we live without air conditioning in the heat? Or warm air during the winter months; yes heat, Could we live without the use of fans? No air circulation other than using our hands… Not me, or so I say now, if it happened well, I would find out how fast I could do without, Like when we were kids, no air conditioning did exist, We lived with the windows open, the fans blowing, the outside sending in mist… But where would we be without technology, Living without microwaves and cooled air, Our atmosphere would not be slipping away due to contaminants we put there… © ed – 7/20/04

Very true but if we never had the conveniences then we wouldn't know what it was to miss them. Well written.

This is so true Ed....back way back then we still
Lived"...now we only try to survive!!

Heat on fans down when ever the HEAT strikes you...too...right....lol!!

So true, Ed. We upset the balance. On the other hand, our average lifespan has expanded...people used to die young. People without AC do die, unfortunately, every summer.

I like your message, however. Well written, too.
