I now have 1313 poems and like that,
no need for applause,
I just wanted to make it special,
I guess, well, just because...

Poem Artwork

1313…

My kind of number,

Unlucky to some,

Only to those that feel encumbered,

By the fear of the unknown,

While to me nothing is unknown,

Having been there before,

Having stepped through the same door,

Into the cage wherein the cat does roar…

No superstition on this end,

Although I will try my best to not offend,

Why take the chance, why worry how to defend?

Just live with the fact you may be the of faith, defender,

For the future is untold, the past there so old,

Life can suck if you let it; problems herein are told,

Never will you see nor hear of me surrender…

So thirteen thirteen a number I enjoy,

Not so much a lucky number but one I can employ,

Like that of six-six-six, the number of the creature that can destroy…

Lucky 13 is always fine for me. I do so get free play for an hour at bingo when signed up on 13 and they pull it up. 666 I am leary about, the devil's number. It can surely destroy.
