Wow, have never written in this category before, a day of firsts, working in the yard, fixing the exhaust on the Jeep and making the camper ready for winter...oh god I am tired, I need a nap...
I HATE yard type work… I wore long sleeves, I wore long pants, Even I did wear a hat and gloves, But still my arms are all stung, My legs feel like pincushions, I don’t seem to do too good on ladders with rungs, Nor do I have fun cutting lawns and picking up yard scrunge… I would definitely do better, If maybe I did wait till winter and wore a sweater, My doctor would not hear from me via a letter, Telling her of my predicament with my swollen arms, If I did it in the winter I may not have come to harm, So other than doing a little shoveling, my work for today is done, Maybe tonight instead of working I can actually have some fun… © ed ~ 9/3/04

have fun working on the yard
when you do that
you must possess a six pack
then you won't feel the bugs

Hmmmm... I'd say, my dear friend, that you're soon going to be headed for another shower! Blood, sweat and tears can be very stinky! BUT... I'm glad you're out there. i'd give anything to do some yardwork; i miss the raking and mowing! (kind of hard to do it in an apt. complex; it is done for us! not the same!) but i don't miss the bugs or stings! cute write; thanks for sharing!
