Happy I be,
Happy I am,
Happy to be back to work,
Sorry if I was kind of a jerk...!

Looks Like…

Looks like I am back to work,

I cannot believe this time last night I was such a jerk,

Even this morning, before they did call me in,

I was still quite upset; it did not look too good from within…

Looks like my job is even better,

Better than I had before, more money, that’s definitely better,

Hell I may even survive though another year New Year,

No more might I have for just now any tears…

Sorry for whining, sorry for bitching, sorry for being a baby,

You have all been so kind, you have looked past my warped mind,

And tried to accept me for the fact that I am less than perfect, maybe?

I appreciate it greatly, I appreciate it muchly, let me just say this stately…

THANKS FOR BEING THERE WHEN I NEEDED YOU!

You weren't whining, Ed. You'd just gotten bad news. If writers can't state how they feel in their writing, where can they state it? When the bottom fell out for me two years ago, I kept apologizing for stating my problems when I was in situations where I needed to state them (as in people asked to hear them). It's embarassing to admit falling on rough times. I apologized for whining. One person told me to stop apologizing and explained to me there's a difference between whining and stating facts.

Now, if you still didn't have a job three months later and REFUSED TO LOOK for a job and were still writing poetry about not having job and being depressed about it, yeah, then people would say that Ed Whine-a-lot, what a whimp. ;-) However, after that cancer scare, no job, well, how bad could it be?

Yipee! Glad things worked out. So far I've found this site to be a relatively safe place to write whatever you feel like writing and to experiment with different genre.

"Sorry for whining, sorry for bitching, sorry for being a baby..." You had reason to be down. You didn't stay there. You didn't ask for a pitty party... You simply wrote what was on your heart. Personally, I see no reason to be sorry. You seem like a great guy who deserves the good that has come your way.

That's great news Ed, I am happy for you...and what is great is that you got better than you left with...see how things turn out sometime for the better. I guess this means you wont be bringing what you call your old wreck south ehhh? Take care and congratulations.
