Do we all have past lives, Not sure am I, If I did, would it be seen in my eyes?

(inspired by something Katy Walsvik said in a review) Perhaps a Past Life� Perhaps I am older than I am in this life, Perhaps I did live on another plain, Perhaps I did live in another time, Perhaps we all did, realizing this could explain� If I did live in another time, I feel it had something to do with the sea, Attached I seem to be in this lifetime I can certainly see, To my ocean, my sea, the only place I do love to be� She is my mother, my lover, my sister and my brother, She is there for all too see but only is she there for me, I treat her with deserved respect not like others, And as you can see I speak of her with tones reserved� Perhaps my past life was that of an Amerindian, Living on the mainland and using the sea as a food source, Perhaps we did eat of the abundance mother ocean did provide, She gave of herself as we did show the respect she required of course, Leaving her through death would have brought on great personal remorse� So back I did come, not as a native, but close to the same in term, For to live on an island from birth, one is called a native, My background therein would have to be considered quite firm, Perhaps I did draw pictures then to explain my life, And now I do write words to in this life explain again, so creative� � ed ~ 9/14/04

I once read these words, "If you don't believe in reincarnation, don't worry your'll come back again."

I do believe and have different ideas of what lives I might of lead but I have to agree with Susan that is more important to consintrate on this life time. I am in agreement with many authors from different reincarnation books that generally we do not remember a past life time unless it is connected with the lesson's we are to learn in this lifetime. I also believe that if we are experiencing bad experiences within this lifetime it is not necessarily because we did something wrong in another lifetime. It is possible we agreed to go through the experience, either to learn something, or to teach something, but since the veil is over us we can never be sure of the reasons. We can only do our best in the understanding that we have now. :-) Thank you for a moment of thoughts :-)

Ed: I believe in reincarnation, but I don't spend a whole lot of time trying to figure out who I once might have been. Getting through this life is hard enough. I must've been an ax-murderer or something, just based on how difficult this life of mine has been. I'm an overcomer though; I guess that's why I write humor.
