It did Come…
It did come to me at night whilst I was alone,
It did come to partake and feast on my body with a moan,
It did come from a nether world of fantasy unknown,
It had done so for millennia this creature its clone…
Fearful though I was, its eyes did calm me,
It was as if it allowed me to see,
Deep into its soul, past it’s being a banshee,
On my back I did lay there and allow it entry…
It did take what it always took,
My strength sapped, it stole like a crook,
Never though did I mind,
Our bodies intertwined,
Each time it did arrive, its abilities seemed more refined…
If so far in life you have not been chosen,
Fear not, for you have been blessed,
It only does start with the very young,
To this I can truly attest…
