Headache… Such a headache I got, Is it stress or just brain rot? My water hose did spring a leak, My life of late seems up the proverbial creek… I hate having time on my hands, Over the weekend I cannot stand, My head is pounding, not sure the cause, If I did know it, would it help my headache to pause…? I took some pills, Maybe to sleep I should my body spill, Maybe I am just allowing myself to overly fret, Better right now for me to call the guys with the net… Pardon if you will, my resultant herein pain and self-torture, Maybe my life after death will be a real scorcher, But for now I am feeling rather put upon, Maybe my anti-depressants I should double up on… © ed ~ 2/13/05

Your style of expression is superb, Ed.
Sorry about your condition. Sounds like a case of "the blues"-- for clearly you do not have "brain rot"! Pills can only do so much... Why not hop into that boat of yours and take a slow ride to nowhere?? Might help clear your head and lift your spirit...?

Doubling up on depression pills might not do the trick. I did a pill and a half during cancer but with a headache that is always a bitch. Having a cup of java just one helps but. With me it is gettin Excredin PM or one of the PM's and that is not PMS. Although Ed once I gave my husband some of the PMS formula for my husband and they worked like a charm. Go figure and before anyone gets smart I guess it does have to do with brain chemistry.

I get migrane headaches whenever the weather is humid. My headaches almost works as a weather forecast. I know the pain too well. Good write, Ed! Hope you're feeling better already.

I get headaches too and they are no fun. No medicine seems to help, though I have found that a large amount of Coca-Cola can kick them out, that is if I am not consuming caffine everyday. The flip side is that I then have a restless night of sleep from the caffine, though I don't sleep well with a migraine either. I hope you feel better soon.
