Poem Artwork

Left behind,

No more worries of the daily grind,

Left to suffer through winter weather unrefined,

So many memories therein enshrined…

No more the center of attention,

Now to exist in a different dimension,

For the future it does feel apprehension,

Left on it’s own, never to again serve man,

That is its final contention…

Passed over to carry off a cooler,

Probably filled it was with food and drink,

This chair no longer has a family or to it a link,

This winter the ocean will adopt it,

To the bottom it will eventually sink…

Life is full of sad memories. Sadder still when a family member is gone or entire family is gone and forgotten. This is well written, Ed
