Embracing Death...

My idea of dealing with death is different I guess from others, if someone wanted for death, prayed for it even, then when they die we should be happy for that person...

He wanted to die for more than a year,


He had no desire to live, of death he had no fear,


He drank himself to death, then died of a stroke,


Finally he did go in the end all for broke…


 


His parents still alive and well,


Treated them like sh**, if he could he would of them sell,


Drunk he always was, outside sleeping in the rain,


Living off his parents, hourly a 12 pack he could drain…


 


So what can be said that was about him good,


In the long run are any of us any better,


Should we in death treat him any better,


Maybe he was just totally misunderstood…

Sounds like no one wanted to really listen.....

In his right mind, I think not!

Still the creator is the final judge, not us..Thank goodness

Something bugged him--we'll never know. If death came up to me, I wouldn't give him a hug--just run.

Many adhere to this type of existentialist philosophy. We, as fellow soujourners, certainly are not the judges of humanity, nor should we interfere with the individuals free will. There is One, however, who will judge what we have done in this life when we pass through the portal of death into the next life. Deep and emotional Ed ...

It is not our place to judge but many do. Life throws curve balls at us and we deal with it the best that we can. There is no joy in the loss of a lost soul, but at least we can believe that with energy changes a new beginning is possible.

Extremely thought provoking.
I hate to think of someone feeling the need to embrace death. We all need to do more to help each other at every opportunity.
