I hate being awakened but two hours before I have to be awake anyway for work, but he is a taskmaster...

Has power over me no doubt, He’s certainly NOT my lil’ writers elf, A straining pain he can inflict when he wants out, He is part & parcel of both my inner & outer self… Red and engorged, He forces me to take up paper & pen, Long and thick he gives no quarter, Till words I enter on paper, No proponent is he of the way of Zen… No matter the time of day, The one eyed beast pops out to play, Tense and tight his head at me shakes, Not allowing any rest till I do my best, Only when he sleeps can he be mistaken for a snake… © ed ~~~~ 1/3/09

Wow what a Write.....and a Very Good Pome I say now Just fine a way to tame that beast that is with you and you could allow your self to shine and fill your heart with wisdom and Grace I like the picture you put with it...by the way Ed long time no hear again good write keep up the grate work....

You kno, off course, that the snake is in both the Old Testament and in Greek mythology, a sign of healing.
