Poem Artwork

I write to you from the other side,

A place that for me I cannot abide,

Where there is no life worth mentioning,

Totally & completely worldwide…

If any intelligence did once exist,

Apparently it must have been turned into grist,

On it someone on purpose pissed,

However there is a great deal of schist,

Just leave your name & I will include you on my mailing list…

What planet you do ask are we visiting,

Why that third one from the sun,

Yes with all the water & pollution, that’s the one,

We haven’t found here yet any fun,

But that big yellow ball in sky,

Has of our personal surfaces overdone…

Haha! Hang in there, Ed. As long as you can put out stuff like this you know you are coping quite well. I'll send you some "animal crackers, I hear they're 'in' this year." (I stole that from Melanie Safka.
