Cheese omelet & toast...

This could be a blog of sorts,
Far from great poetry is this,
Not so much a diamond in the rough,
More so something to do with quartz...

Great way to start the day,

Though I like cereal better,

Didn’t get breakfast till late,

Better not to wait till eight…

 

Hiding at home,

Did not feel up to roam,

Cold out today, so lame,

Tomorrow more of the same…

 

So here I sit to write,

Makes me feel better, just right,

Sun is still out, not yet night,

With a desire to get out, I fight…

It really does feel good sometimes just to sit quietly and write...instead of getting out there amid the millieu!

even a breath of air for five minutes cuts through that sense of lethargy and "cabin fever", Edbear... Plus it energises for more poems and versiblogging... which you seem to be very good at... Could catch on... xx
