Poem Artwork

For those that did pray for me,

Or at least gave me a thought,

To relief of my cold I had sought,

Friday, yesterday, in battle to do so I fought…

Today, Saturday, it is close to gone,

Will stay in one more day to be sure,

So no more nasty bugs will be spawn,

After that I won’t be afraid to around others yawn…

Its been a war of wills,

The cold wanted me to die of coughing,

The meds wanted me to sleep the day away,

But I can see there is NO MO' COLD in the offing…

Colds are the bane of man. Colds come and colds go, but pneumonia is the one to avoid. Cough it up and get it out. Tomorrow will be much better.
