Damned Stomach...

I hope someday soon "they" have some kind of remedy for whatever this problem is...

Poem Artwork

Doesn’t seem to be getting any better,

The problem seems to come & go,

Got a GI appointment next week,

I pray they can fix the problem, its what I do ultimately seek…

Pain and pressure,

Can’t of it measure,

Don’t want to go outside,

To eat I cannot abide,

Don’t even feel like going out for a short ride…

They say that diabetes is the cause,

Each day it makes me take pause,

You’ve no idea what I would give to have a guffaw,

I can’t tell you what I wish for, though it’s like going through withdraws...

I know what you mean, if it isn't a pain in the butt it's a pain in the gut!

Make sure they check for gluten intolerance. I read yesterday from a guy with spinal cord injury that reaction to gluten can cause about 90% of the symptoms that I have, like spasms, tingling and joint pain in the legs and feet.

Good luck on a speedy and correct diagnosis and plan of action for the condition. Unfortunately, you may have to give up some your favorite foods.

Believe it or not, you will grow to love the ones you eat!

I've been told by my doctor that I am now a diabetic, too. I refuse to accept that and fight it only with prayer and the power within my own mind. No special diet and no medications. Sometimes I think the docs, though they mean well, over medicated us and cause even more problems than we started out with. Good luck with your appointment, my friend and God bless.

Sometimes, all it takes for someone

with "pain and pressure"...to feel little bit better,

is a simple message that says...GET WELL SOON...
