Yes, I am awake again,
I go to bed at midnight,
And awaken at three,
Much to my chagrin I must say,
My night hours are turning into my day…
Even if there were some kind of sleeping pill,
I would not make it through the whole night anyway,
Either I would be forced to go to the bathroom,
Or one or both of my legs would have muscle spasms,
So painful are they sometimes that of my legs they might kill…

Calcium for leg cramps, a beverage called Neuro Sleep- available at Walmart for sleep. Half a bottle can do it.
I can only wish these to work as well for you as for so many others I know.

ED, I have found if I exercise during the day I actually sleep better...
3 am is the witching hour, full of sleeplessness and dread, the bain of old men like me. Fortunately, I sleep through the night and wake up a dawn. . . yes, to see the sunrise. John
Ed - another source of potassium is Gatorade.
Another possible relief is to soak in a hot tub
With Epsom Salts before bed. Relaxes muscles.

Try eating bananas for leg cramps. They add potassium, which might help, or not. They helped me.
Eh . . . I'm with you on those darn leg cramps. I have managed to control mine with an across the counter product called "Leg Cramps." WalMart is where I found them.

Lots of advice for leg cramps. I recommend exercise. If your legs are swelling, support hose.
