I think everyone needs "alone time" however measured. It's all good. You're being called by inspiration as she wants to insert a new muse into your brain.
We all need time alone to clear our minds of daily nonsense and to breathe. My time is at night when everyone is asleep. I sit alone and write my poetry and my book. No TV. No interruptions. Peace.
I think this feeling of being content alone must come with age as a blessing since many old people are alone. I am also much of the time "alone", giving me time to write the poetry. If more people were making demands on my time, I would only wish to be more alone. Like Jerry said, Hang in there buddy.
You have it all together, Ed, whther you know it or not. Don't know youy age, but I know mine, and I am as one with myelf in these later years. Hang tough.
