A Land of Two Suns...

I have been cataloging my dreams of late and this has been one that is recurring...

Poem Artwork

Sailing along in the mid Pacific,

Let me be more specific,

Near the equator,

Just passed a derelict freighter…

A storm came up out of nowhere,

Thunder & lightening, 35 foot swells,

My boat and I were tossed around,

All of a sudden all I heard were bells…

Apparently I was knocked unconscious,

I awoke on a calm sea,

With no navigational reference,

The compass did not spin, the GPS non-functional,

A world it seemed most fictional…

Temperature over a hundred degrees,

After a time I found myself on my knees,

The heat was unbearable; this world had two suns,

Creatures flittered by on wings of wax,

In the middle of it all a train on its tracks…

Really interesting dream, Ed! Creatures with "wings of wax," had better be wary in "A Land of Two Suns"! Fly low, creatures!'

Love ya!

Perhaps you have traveled to a flat earth, that is why your compass was not working. Interesting dream, Ed!

Nice transition into an alternate world. Not sure where that landline came from. ;-)

Sounds more like a kaleidoscope dream after over-smoking the weed.
