“More Musings From the ID” (ed)
Excellent tho’ they may be, no gods of health can reflect a
nuisance variety,
Caught up in fantasy the will is smudged and characterized,
By tokens of youthful ignorance,
Begone! – no more resilience or pleasurable consequence,
United with awful love and disjointed if possible,
Agree with solitude but bring on no parade of solace,
What portion of the crowds are real?
Who steers the craft – or who cares?
Why bring on a simple vicissitude of sharing?
How do we cope with pleasant difficulty?
Where is the ordinary baking of bread?
When is the knoll coming for we fortunates?
Extra laws brought on by little wisdom
Carefully check the entry regulations
For one man to exist with another
Absolutely ignominious, are we not?
To feel no pain for the unfortunate masses
Tangled in the nets of confusion
Burnt in their own fires of poverty
To bring again the oils to the lamps of freedom
Naught but annoying, tiring tirades
Brought out for a new religion
Long will he live who buys into such testaments
Forlorn, disapproved, glaring use of a cowcatcher to sweep
off the tracks of authority
Only this once does the notion subside
But most will accelerate into oblivion…
*ed*
and tyrannosauruses.
