When I feel a little less poetic and have little to write about, I like to keep my hand in with little diddys like this one...hope you enjoy it...ed

                              “NAPS”

    What a great invention,

    Just lie down,

    Close your little eyes,

And bingo, you’re taking a nap!

They can be taken in the front seat of your

    car,

But only when you are stopped,

Or you will surely meet St Peter!

They can be taken . home,

          On the beach,

           In the woods,

           At a party,

           On your boat,

But unless you are really hearty you must lie

     down for a nap!

A nap can make one feel invincible,

Bringing back that just awakened feeling of

     morning,

Or it can be just the ticket if you’re feeling a

bit tired in the middle of the workday,

     Even just a 15-minute nap,

     Sometimes called a power nap,

Can take away the blues & bring back that

     snap,

     Can’t say enough about naps,

We all use em’ in different ways,

All of them are good; there is no down side,

Unless, of course, we do them when in the

             car

That “can” be bad, especially if we are

       driving at the time!

Although I have said in the past,

That I get my best naps while driving,

As well as I do my best driving,

          While napping…
