Hate to Over Do

Another note to a friend...

Hate to over do,
But need to know if my friend is still my friend,
Or did I screw it up all royally?

When an occasion arose,
To put forth my two cents,
Boy, did I ever do it, it made no sense.

I should have known that it would tick him off,
I should have seen in advance,
But all I could think of was another circumstance,
About another friend at the time,
But, for us, it was a wrong rhyme.

So now, this guilt I have,
For possibly ending all we built,
So grim I will be through the next few days,
Till either I hear from him,
Or come to realization that our friendship,
Is now in the gutter of life...

A friendship never ends, it does; however, sometimes take a breather when lessons are being learnt. Hope all works out well for you :-)
