# 300…hard to believe,

        Hard for me to believe,

I have reached this monumental number,

             Three hundred!

             Almost scary also,

All you poor readers have to read the bunk & dribble,

        I have poured out over all this time,

But, boy oh boy, have I kept up with my poetry scribble.

When I reached one hundred,

I thought I could never get to two,

But, here I am at three,

I can’t believe, can you?

Now to go to four & five and more,

I swear to you, I would have thought my brain would be, by now, sore,

From all this thought & use of words, half of which and more,

Most of these words, I would think would, by now, make you snore,

I would really thank you all, and most assuredly implore,

You to keep reading what I write, even if sometimes I do bore,

Or you can be like the crow and just say, “NEVERMORE!”
