“FREEDOM”

Two outbursts of anger, I wrote,

Apologies to those it offended,

Had a bit of a fender bender,

With someone that had no right driving,

No insurance, no registration, let alone,

               NO LICENSE!

She told the police and I,

I  “NO UNDERSTAND”,

So that was why,

I flew off the proverbial handle,

They took her car,

But that was not as far,

As they went, cause they found the bar,

That she had just left,

The bartender stating she spoke,

Perfect English, Spanish and French,

A well-heeled person of means,

Did not want to spend her money,

On trivialities like insurance and such,

All this came to light this morning and much,

The more we learn of this person,

The more we find how many others she used,

Her conning touch with…

I still stand by my original thoughts,

Regarding learning the language and so forth,

But now I can relax, as this woman was, by the police, found out,

She first got out of her car and screamed a blue streak of obscenities,

In English mind you, no trouble there,

But when the police arrived, she was the little scared old lady,

Unable to understand a single word, oh my, poor little Sadie, was her name…

The police ran her prints,

Her record as long and around as my, well you know,

She feigned innocence, not understanding and so on,

Now she is in jail, for numerous crimes, not only mine,

She may not see the light of day for many a year,

All I care about,  I gotta say, is just how near,

I came to being arrested and jailed,

As she talked her way around the cops,

Making them believe that she was the victim,

And I the perpetrator and causer of all this at the stop,

So I am here to tell you, I am relieved and a lot more stress free,

This woman, she talked herself into a jail cell never to soon see,
