Defrosted are the Streets…
The ice on the streets has defrosted,
Awaiting the arrival of the next frosting,
Snow on the way, to be here any day,
To cover the streets in ice,
And make the world so gray.
The first time the snow arrives,
So beautiful, so peaceful, so calming,
Then we go out for a drive,
At that we must strive,
To mainly and mostly survive.
The cold winds are again blowing,
Out of the Northwest,
Giving, today, our heaters just one day of rest,
Prior to the continuing of winters best.
Back into the artic cold for a few days more,
To hibernate and sleep as the rest of the week, I swore,
Warmest in the bed,
Would be warmer if Rene were here and dropped her drawers,
Downright hot it would be then, an excellent feeling for ED…
