“A Belated Valentine Gift to the Special “K” Twins”
A gift I sent, for two Valentines,
A gift of a dusting of snow,
Hopefully it arrived in time,
To coat the state of Texas,
With a white wash, so sublime…
I wished and prayed and meditated,
To the “enth” degree for snow,
To arrive by Valentines day, just a short show,
To be around for maybe one day or two,
Just enough for the Special “K” twins to,
Get their snowball fight in,
Before the snow did turn gray…
So happy herein am I,
My snow present from the sky,
Did make it there, it did arrive,
From God & Ed & Rufuz too,
Also from all at AD, direct to you…
Glad you both liked your present,
Twas the very least that I could do,
You have both been much more than pleasant,
To both Rufuz and I, Rene as well,
Glad it arrived as close to or as best, on cue…

We got 4" of the white stuff here in Burleson; it sure was pretty! But it has since gone; and now Burleson is back to its normal shades of brown, grey, and dead grass green. UCH! Too bad we can't have snow more often here in the wintertime; all we USUALLY get is RAIN or at best, ICE!
