Not poetry, just a question, to all of us...including myself!
Pay It Forward… (from the movie of the same name, I post herein a question to all of us) Can we actually do, What this movie calls for? Can we start a “movement”? A Pay it Forward movement? Can you actually say you would be willing? To even try, to pay forward your good fortune… I know I would like to try, but how, do we do this? Can we forgo our prejudices? Can we forget past wrongs? Can we allow ourselves to do for others, before ourselves? Are we brave enough? Are we intelligent enough? Do we have what it takes? To see this thing thru, No matter what, in the end, this makes, No matter what others think? No matter what WE think, now? Can we try? Can we cross the line? Can we help others without worry? Can we allow them to doubt our sanity? Can you get past yourself doubting your own sanity? Can I? © ed/2004

I haven't seen the movie but the questions you ask remind me of my father. This is how he lived his life - selfless. It can be done ;-)

Ed I saw this movie a few years ago and it had quite an impact
on me...and I vowed to try to "pay it forward" as much as I
humanly could....and I have and I am....it is a movie for all to see...it is one of my favorites..Just imagine if everyone did this...good write..floria

Ed, I have to see this movie! Believe it or not, that movement was started long ago by Jesus Christ. What a wonderful thing it would be if we were all to become part of such a movement. This is a wonderful thoughtful write that you wrote. May God bless you.
