To all my wonderful friends on AD…

Of late, my computer took a dive,

Wiping out everything I had saved on the main drive,

The technician said he could save some,

but in the end I lost pretty much all save for one…

I am still picking up the pieces, so to speak,

I lost all mail from AOL, so any poems you wrote,

In the last 3 or 4 days, are gone sunk in my moat,

Even AOL, has yet to find them, so suffice to say,

I am not ignoring you all, just getting back on today…

For some reason I still have this screen jumping,

But not all the time, every now and then,

So just understand, some of my mail stayed,

but most of it went down, hope I didn’t offend?

Hope to be back up and running better soonest,

Till then I will ultimately do my best,

To post some writes, hopefully some in jest,

Cause I miss doing so, but am kinda reluctant,

For fear the old machine will stop again,

As this jumping or flashing is sort of a pain…

Hope you’re all well, and writing prolifically,

As with my time off, I had no way of doing so,

I don’t like to write on paper anymore, only type,

So will be back on and ready to go sometime tonight…
