Poetry in Sleep…
When we dream of the stream,
Or of the moments we have creamed,
In our sleep these times they seem,
So real, not subconscious, and so clean…
Can we recall, after we awake?
That is the question we must take,
And hopefully we can say, yes,
So let us herein make,
A new poem, a sonnet, a haiku, a story,
From that of our REM sleep, so neat…
I think that is the way the horror writers do,
Take from their nightmares, a story or two,
Can I do the same, can I recall what I dreamed?
Or is it just so much flow in the river of a dream?
Time to awake, to get out of this theme,
To get on with my day, to do what I do best, daydream,
So if you find this to be of interest, leave a comment or two,
Or not, it is, after all, just up to you…
