Change is a constant...

CHANGE…

All things must,

Way of the world I am afraid, just,

Wish it were not true , sometimes I cuss,

When things so old are made different,

I get nostalgic & reminiscent…

Life as well is like that too,

We all get old; we all get blue,

We all change with the winds of age,

Wisdom we find, the older we get,

We try to fight it, sometimes with that of rage,

But short of being frozen as we are on this page,

Our desire to stay young cannot be caged…

Changes come, that much is certain,

We go from beautiful, handsome, to that of plain,

We may not attract that, which we used too,

But for all our changes, we are still young,

To those few that care & give us tongue…

I think wisdom is what has always attracted me. While the other girls where lusting after Little Joe, I was interseted in the wisdom of Lorne Green. Change is a wonderful thing even if it means we are aging.
