THANKTUARY…

I come here to release through poetry,

Some of my problems, my innermost thoughts,

I come here with much appreciation, never have I sought,

But you herein have for me quite well, taught,

What I can only describe as love & peace,

Otherwise I would have never known,

What beauty my poems do bring…

My desire to thank you all has grown,

Over time to a point I find I am unable,

Too much do I feel, too many thanks are due…

So let me state here & now,

This particular place is my THANKTUARY,

You have all been so kind,

More so than ever I thought I would find…

Thank you all so much for your kindness’s,

Thank you for your projected love and peace,

Thank you all for being yourselves,

Through thin & thick, happiness & sadness,

You have all been for me, an extended family,

Never have I know so much love in one place…
