On the first day of every year
at noon when the sun is high in the sky 
hundreds of folks of the Yarmoith, Mass area,
from far and near and all of good cheer
turn out for thier annual Polar Plunge.
It is a very brief intergenerational assemblage
whereby a whole community gets half naked
to share fellowship and
escape the doldrums of a cold winter's day.
Young and old alike gather on the shore 
of the Atlantic Ocean.
They jump up and down and run around
before delving into the water...
just to get out of the cold.
But they are out in a hurry...
'cause they gotta put on the push
to get home before they freeze thier tush.
All are welcome to join in.
So come on everybody...
