It was a pleasant surprise to find myself featured in an article published by a News Service of Cape Cod Healthcare. In the July 11, 2016 issue of One Cape Health News an article asked "Feeing lonely? Write a poem" appeared. It points out that dabbling in the arts is essential for all ages, but research is now showing that it is especially important as we age. New research reveals that it promotes healthy aging and helps combat loneliness among older people.
