Wading through the memories

Of love and all that delights the mind

Of dancing in the light

A childhood sweet and bright

Carefree days and nights

Thinking of a life

Now three fourth over or so

And even more could be

The future is never ours

Now  as you  live on and on

In spite of having no clue

Walking steadily on to move

Think of all that was fine

That what is lost is not  mine

The defining  pattern of the feel

Like the Achilles with his heel

 Always sensitive is   the heart

Still better than not knowing that

The feeling for loving and sharing  smile

Is like burning coal ebbing bright

For it is the glow of love like a diamond star

That Is sparkling and shining in the heart

 To beat in rhythm in style and pace

Today and for ever more

For love is pure and undying

 Makes the world move in peace
