Many women wonder how  I  happy be

I say, I be happy because I am a  woman first of all

 I don’t like to crib, try to stay clear of troubles

I accept me just as what I am

 A contented woman can’t I be?

And they say I Iike to smile and wait for issues to pass

A good talk can  spread more joy, and no frowns I show

I say, it brings back to me  in tons what I give out free

It makes me walk with my chin up, even in the face of loses

And  with a glowing heart flickering peace all the time

Like Bee con lights on the street coloured bright I  like to be

Admirers many, friends to make all the while

To love and to be loved  and  be happy to share

 To accept me as I am ,a  friendly family to care

For being a woman , a contented woman I am

Getting into innocent minds of  young ones  so lovely

Open my mind when I am with my own kind

To lend a helping hand if I can bring a smile to the other

As a woman, be happy and be a contented woman

At times to take the back seat and let others lead

Not driven by pride or beauty or fame

Nor lured by wealth or power or have any fear

I am a woman, a contented woman

For I happily thrive on my inner strength  so dear

This is what I gathered in the course of my life.

To be a contented woman and not  run after illusions any

Never  feel  unequal because I am a woman

Such is the blessings  indeed to be a contented woman.
