A Night Made For Lovers

    Tonight is a night for lovers

    As the rain hits the roof

    The thunder and lightning heightening the moment

    With the electric out

    Making a blindfold of desire unfold

    All that nature has given us must not be wasted on nights like these

    Breathe in and breathe out the scent of the rain

    As the window cracked open allows the heavenly scent to linger in

    The thunder pounds like the rapid beating of our hearts

    The lightning casts forth shadows in our dark room

    Our moans and sighs are like music

    The rhythm we keep matches the pouring rain

    Until we finally reach the end

    A pause in the storm

    A silence and calmness inside

    Then again the pounding rain ensues

    And we embark again on our sensual journey

    To Heaven and back again

    Riding the storm out

    Finding one another

    And feeling at peace when the morning glow returns
