Name On High

Fog coming up from the road

Smoke arising from the ashes

Every day is a new day

Enjoy each moment before it passes

For that fog will dissipate

And the smoke will filter out 

And our bodies are slowly decaying

As with each breath we near closer to our demise

But I see a light there

I spy a smidge of hope

And I know not everyone believes such as I

But ya know I love ya anyhow

As I myself choose to see someone bigger

Someone who loves me and accepts me as I am

Blessed Be the Name of the Lord

For He is my rock and my salvation

He never takes a vacation

Never turns a blind eye

Never forsakes

And times may be rough now

But know He has not stepped away

He is only awaiting the day in which you will acknowledge Him again

So let us stand firm in our belief of this kind heart

And let us not fear being turned away from those who do not understand 

For God was willing to die for all of our sin

Is not He worth it anyway?

So take a deep breath and look to the sky

For there you will find your answer

Always handed down from that name on high!
