A deep piece written by a deep person

 Broken

I am lying here crying
Crying in silence
Silence is golden
Golden years will never come to me
Me, I am broken
Broken and alone
Alone with this mental illness
Illness?
? What is this word
Word...an awful word
Word...my inspiration imagination
Imagination keeps my kind in motion
Motion is needed more to function
Function?  Another fictional ability
Ability to breathe underwater
Underwater, in my mind I am drowning
Drowning from tears, fears, jeers, and my own damn manipulation
Manipulation... ruining everything I touch...f***ing everything up
Up?  This only lasts for a short time
Time is getting away from me
Me...my own worst nightmare
Nightmare is being alone forever and never getting to really live
Live?  Naw, exist is more like it
It has been a long road
Road to mountain
Mountain containing all of my hopes and dreams
Dreams fly by as I dwindle in Space
Space...when does it become too much?
? The mountain and my fear of heights
Heights, I am too afraid to go there, to reach my potential
Potential is waiting for me
Me, hit in the face by the door
Doors always slammed and locked
Locked out of my purpose, my meaning
Meaning is breathing and I am turning blue
Blue is depth, blue is sky, and blue is hurt
Hurt by so much
Much more to come along the way
Way to go on another breakdown
Breakdown is something I excell in
In and out of emotions
Emotions dragging me down
Down down down
Down the rabbit hole I go
Go on to dream tonight
Tonight, my friends, sleep well!

Repetition done with great effect. It pulled me right down into that rabbit hole. I will have some trouble climbing out. I hope you make it out also.
