For a few minutes on a warm summer morning
I had Heaven in my grasp
After a night of restrained lust
and hopeful anticipation
his lips intertwined with mine as dawn set in.
The world evaporated around me as I lost myself in desire
For a few minutes
I felt my longing for him being returned
as he lay by my side and touched me gently.
All at once, my dream came true
But as suddenly as it had came, it shattered.
For I remembered that his love belonged to another
and I was just a fool, letting him use me for one brief moment.
Um, are you my twin?? :):) Please read my poem called The Thief, this happened, i kid you not, to me too. Uncanny or what. :) That was a sensual and hopeful write, pity, the good ones seem to be taken.
