New Contracts, Miss My Author's Den Buddies 9/17/2008 9:09:31 PM
Just stopping by the den to give an update... I used to post so many poems here and met some great people. Shame I just can't seem to create a single poem anymore... So... my first published book came out in electronic format August 15th. It's been #1 on the publisher's site for several weeks now, which is awesome.
I just receved an offer for an 8-book contract from another publisher, a PRINT publisher. A publisher I absolutely love. It's finally happening.
After years of writing and submitting, wondering if it would ever happen, it has. I'm a published author.
I want to thank everyone on this site. I started posting poetry and short stories on this site several years ago and I received such great support from many wonderful, talented people. Thank you so much for all the encouragement and the kindness you've shown me.
I miss posting poetry and getting such nice comments on it... I don't know what happened. My daddy died and the poetry in me seemed to die with him.
I haven't been on here much since then either, as I primarily posted poetry back then... I try to come by every so often and post updates since I see I have a few loyal trackers on here (thanks, guys!)
