Dredging up thoughts Long ago dead. Reliving life Now gone instead. Wishful thoughts left, Years without end. Surface once more Rounding my bend. Delightful times Blessed with such charm. Worth re-airing, But the thrill, gone. Nothing is new Under the sun. Thoughts of such love My heart has won. They were the days When joy was young. Lived without end, Till death unstrung.

Well done George. It's not always easy to express written compassion for someone who is forever gone. Still, it's great therapy and it's etched in history to be read long after we all are gone.

Death unstrings us all. My uncle cut the cord a couple of nights ago at 102.5. I wish I had his memories.
