There was a hand that touched me,
Though I did not see who it was.
There was a voice behind me,
But no body from which it came.
The sky seemed to open up
And I saw my dead brother.
He smiled down on me,
Though I was not two at the time.
From my baby carriage I cried
Edmund, Edmund, my sister got freightened.
She wheeled me in the house
And told my mother what I said.
It was no ghost, It was my brother Edmund
Smiling down upon me from his heavens rest.
This is a true story I remember still.
Edmund was a saintly brother, I can attest.
