Been over the Atlantic and Pacific, Only one was for pleasure. Each has its memories That I shall always treasure. More than once I almost Didn't make it. A sniper Missed his mark, But I didn't. Can't brag about war, It has too many horrors. Your just lucky if you survive, Ask any combat vet.

My father told me enough about war (he was a prisoner in Germany in WWII) that makes me fortunate never having had to face it. For that I am grateful. Thank you for sharing, George. Love and blessings,
